SFIVET's Centre for the Development of Occupations provides professional organisations with assistance in the development and implementation of VET and PET programmes.
We help professional organisations to analyse and develop VET and PET programmes as well as to describe competences needed to carry out a given occupational/professional activity. We also help professional organisations to establish training objectives, structure training content, decide how long training should last and plan the corresponding qualification procedure. The main focus of our work is on the specific needs of customers as well as on the professional skills required on the labour market.
We use proven scientific instruments and methods and develop these on a continual basis. We rely on our extensive network of VET schools, federal and cantonal agencies and companies. We are also active in all three linguistic regions of Switzerland.
