International relations and cooperation

As Swiss governmental center of competence for the provision of tertiary-level basic and continuing training to VET actors, for the development of professions and for VET research, SFIVET is the national contact point for international cooperation.

SFIVET works to transfer scientific knowledge to VET-practitioners and maintains a tight network of national and international partners from the business and research community. These partnerships help SFIVET to internationalize the Swiss dual-track VPET system.
Research projects are also facilitated thanks to international grant funding.
